Marvel Comics, The Amazing Spider-Man, # 108 from 1969. FEATURING THE HUMAN TORCH AND GWEN STACY AND THE COMIC WAS HAND SIGNED BY SPIDEY ICON, JOHN ROMITA SR! Comic cover art created by John Romita Sr., and the comic was hand signed by artist John Romita Sr. at the annual New York Comic Show, 2012. It comes with a POA (Proof Of Authenticity). John Romita is considered by many, myself included, as the best Spider-Ma...n artist ever! John Romita Sr.'s career spanned many formative years at Marvel Comics, drawing Amazing Spider-Man from issue # 39-200, missing a few, and adding a few later issues. He has drawn The Avengers, Captain America, Daredevil, The Fantastic Four, and is credited with co-creating The Punisher, Kingpin and Wolverine!Look for more premium signed books!Comic is in a F/F+++/VF- or better condition, one small tear front cover on Spidey's foot, see scans. Displays beautifully, high gloss! Larger scans available upon request. To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the sellor of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the sellor who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me. P&H is $4.00 for the first comic, USA. Add $1.00 for each additional comic. I always pack carefully and securely, bag and board, sandwiched between heavy cardboard for protection.Please contact me for international postage rate.
