The radio cosmetically is in very good condition and appearance apart from some missing paint. NO BENT, BROKEN OR MISSING FINS OR PROTECTION LUGS. It has been tested and is in good working order. This set was used for ground to ground communica...tions, mobile and fixed and was the main unit for the infantry. It was the backbone of infantry communications on and off the battlefield. It has a good range across open countryside. It covers 30Mhz to 75.975Mhz with 25Khz channel spacing and 4 Watts FM output with CTCSS tone. 20 watts output via the amp into an external antenna and cannot output through the whip on the radio.NOW COMES WITH A FREE NEW OLD STOCK BATTERYPost and packing within mainland UK (which is, Wales, England and Scotland excluding the highlands and islands ) will be £15 via Parcel2go (Hermes, UK Mail, DHL etc) or Parcelforce 48.
