1. Book inscribed to Walt Ehlers, from Jay Gr...uenfeld (WWII Pacific Theatre rifle squad and platoon leader who served in the 43rd Infantry Division). The Book is titled Purple Heart’s and Ancient Trees.
2. 2006 Letter to Walt Ehlers from the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. Letter is signed by Gary L. Littrell, President MOH Society, and MOH recipient himself. He received his MOH while serving as a light weapons Infantry Advisor, 23rd Ranger Group, during the Vietnam War. The letter is also signed by Nicholas B. Kehoe, President, MOH Foundation. Kehoe is a command pilot who served two combat tours during the Vietnam War, earning the DFC and 28 Air Medals.
3. Certificate of Recognition from the California State Assembly, dated May 17, 2002. The seal is authentic, but the signature appears to be a facsimile signature.
4. Commendation from California State Governor Gray Davis, dated May 17, 2002. The seal is authentic, but the signature appears to be a facsimile signature.
5. Certificate of Recognition from the City of Santa Ana California, dated November 17, 2011. The Certificate has the official City Seal, and is signed by the City Mayor, Miguel A. Pulido.
6. A letter and envelope to Walter Ehlers, postmarked February 18, 1992, regarding the annual Reunion for the Officers of the First Division.
7. A MOH Membership Badge ( not sure what event this is from).
8. A Pocket Bible, New Testament, Presented to Walter D. Ehlers, US Army.
