 This Japanese made golden-brown silk is the best tsukaito. It is the ito that the professionals use. It is dyed and woven by traditional means specifically for wrapping tsuka. It will last significantly longer than the mass produced and cheaper ito.   It is 4mm wide Japanese silk tsuka-ito and 149 inches long. I purchased this for a sword handle that was approximately 9 3/4 inches. There was more than enough to complete the wrapping of the handle. (The silk wrap is the only ...item available in this auction).
