Primitive Rag Doll Annie Angel Americana Tag Whimsical Star Halo Burlap Wings
Item History & Price
Her body and collar are both made from muslin that has been painted in colors to represent the American flag. They were then sanded, antiqued & sprinkled with mica to create a beautiful vintage shimmer. Her wings are made from a glittery burlap that has been heavily tea stained along the edges. Her face has button eyes, stitched facial... features & a wool felt nose that was attached with primitive stitches for a touch of whimsy. Her hair was made from a beautiful rustic brick wool yarn - each piece has been hand stitched around the seam of the head. The '1776' hang tag was designed by me & printed on kraft card stock. The whimsical star is made from rusty wire that was hand shaped & wrapped with a thinner gauge rusty wire to make it look like grapevine....this star is stunning in person! Finally, the halo was made by 2 gauges of rusty wire with stars & jingle bells randomly attached.
Doll measures 9" tall (10" with halo) x 11" wide (wing span). The bottom is weighted so she will sit without tipping over.
