A Wonderful Art Nouveau/ Arts and Craft French Pewter Fish charger.A Unique Item. I have never seen anything similar in all my years in Antiques. Its is a Museum quality
I acquired this lovely item over 20 years ago from a little village in Northern France.
Its is a piece of Art. The platter is raised fishes , swimming through rushes and water.The pictures does not due it justice.Any collector would be proud to own this magnificent, sculptured Art.
There are no makers marks.......but the artist must have been magnificent
A massive size....45 cms x 45 cms.
A must item for any collector. I will be sorry to see it go.
There is a very small pin hole at the top, which was allowed to hang the item
Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
