STANLEYNo. 43 MILLERS PATENT PLOW PLANEThis is a very early Stanley No. 43 Millers patentplow plane in excellent condition. It is an early type 6 – 6a from around 1887.It has many features of a type 6 including the rear rod going thru the body tohold a press steel depth stop. It also has the early solid knurled brass screwsthat lock in the fence to the rods. A very accurate plane fitting the type 6-6atype study. It is a beautiful plane with the fancy filigree with blackjapanning in t...he background. The cast iron and steel is in clean condition withno rust or pitting. Good coating of japanning with normal age wear. Therosewood handle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Itcomes with one cutter that is 5/16” wide. A rare plane to find in such finecondition. Great for a collection or use as a plow plane.
