Here is a rare old single bevel broad hatchet that measures almost 14 ½ inches long, has a head that is 6 inches wide, and a 4 ¾-inch cutting edge. It has an almost perfect BLACK RAVEN KELLY AXE MFG. CO. CHARLESTON, W.V. U.S.A. stamping on one side. The handle is in solid shape with some age cracks and normal wear. The head has some dings and imprinted dots. It does have some tiny nicks on the blade edge. It has a little chipping on the hammering end. Now the worst part, there is a t...iny hairline crack starting under the logo to the right and hooking up to the eye. I does not go clear across the head. I will show it in the pictures. With this rare hatchet and awesome logo it would make an awesome display item, even with the hairline! This would still make a great tool for any collection!<p>Please Read !!!
