DESCRIPTION: Up for auction...A RARE and all ORIGINAL U.S. MILITARY MILLS HORIZONTAL PISTOL CARTRIDGE BELT for the 1911 .45 auto. It has 2 pockets, in front, for carrying the Colt pistol magazines, and 4 additional pockets for loose cartridges. It will hold a total of 42 rounds. Each of the 6 pocket flaps have a rimless eagle snap, marked "MILLS MILITARY FASTENERS". The olive drab, web belt is 3 pieces with an adjustable strap at the back. The b...rass hooks are stamped "MADE BY MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCHESTER MASS U.S.A.". The 2 piece interlocking "T" buckle is brass.
