WWI USMC MG Battalion Helmet. Very scarce 1st Battalion, Machine Gun regiment, 2ND Division, AEF painted helmet. Condition is wonderful. Has EGA device attached with a French coin as a backing. The back of helmet has additional artwork of French & USA flags and the whole outer shell has a lacquer finish on it. The helmet came out of Seattle, WA and the veteran put the lacquer on it to keep from getting corroded. The liner is in excellent shape but stiff. The inner brim has the vete...rans initials, CHM, Clarence H. Moore, battalion and company info on it.***
