Actual title is: A Busy Day in Dollv...ile.
The sign is from our family's personal collection. Bought at a fall Gaithersburg Advertising Show in 1976. it has had a place of honor in the kitchen above a floor size Lion Coffee bin with a great pale blue candy scale on its top.
Busy Day is one of our signs now available for disposal. Many of the other signs have been sent to Jeffrey S Evans & Associates, Broadway, Virginia, to be included in their August 23 and 24th advertising sale.
Items sent include: Doctor Daniels cabinet with key, two Enterprise coffee grinders, one large with eagle, one small; two Diamond Dye cases, the Baby and a rare version of the Washer Woman; signs for Blackwell's Tobacco, John Drew Cigars, Lifebuoy Soap, ONT Thread, Jackson Wagons, Domestic Sewing Machine, Lion Coffee, Reed Flower Seeds and more.
Yet more includes: large floor size four section display cabinet, Cherry Smash dispenser, rare large yellow store tin with photograph front of a Saunton, Virginia store and the wonderful large Lion Coffee wood storage bin. Other unusual country store items are also offered.
Finally, offered this week are one fourth of 1920's collectible dolls and comic animals that were housed in the floor sized display case. See the photo of these items offered separately.
