For sale is a wonderful Wooden Box with Handle that has beautiful early rosemaling or similar type painting on it.This was an attic find and is dusty but I was not sure what to use to clean it -will let the new owner decide.This is a Scandinavian piece, and is a very early piece as I see it has square nails holding the handle on.The little metal clasp on the top on the side that opens has a piece of it missing so it can not be locked shut.It measures 15" across the top, is 6 1/2"... tall not including the handle, and is 10 1/2" across.Nice wide wooden handle-a little over 1 1/2" across in size and has a great design on it also.The top of the lid on the side that lifts up seems to be a little warped from use-look at the last picture and you will see it does not lay flat.No real damage on this wonderful piece but needs a good cleaning/dusting.Any questions please ask as I am not sure what else to list about it.This will be double boxed for shipping and Insured.If anyone has any info about this piece it would be appreciated.The weight I put in may seem like a lot but I am going to double box it.If there is a big difference in the amount I will always re-fund the difference in shipping if you pay right away.Or you can wait and let me pack it and I can put the correct amount in before you pay.On May-18-19 at 07:14:18 PDT, seller added the following information:This is NOT a OR BEST OFFER ITEM so please do not send me offers of half price or less than I am asking.It is paid for and if it does not sell I will keep it.I have had 4 different offers like this even though it does not say OR BEST OFFER!!!
