Up for auction is a antique Ashworth Bros Hanley covered serving bowl or tureen. It's 12 1/4" by 9 1/2" by 5 1/2" tall and marked on the underside. The mark dates it between 1862 and 1890. It's beautifully decorated with birds and flowers. The lid is without chips or cracks but the bowl has a nick/chip and crack on the inside of the bowl and also a line on the outside (see pictures).
