You're bidding on an original signed CDV of Lt. Col. DeWitt C. M'Coy 83rd Pennsylvania. The CDV is signed "Compliments of DC M'Coy Lt. Col 83' PV". The back mark photographer is Peter Mcadams who was assigned to the 5th corps to photograph the soldiers. Lt. Col. DC M'coy enrolled at Meadville, Pa., August 19, 1861; promoted from Captain, Company F to Lt. Colonel, January 25, 1864; to Brevet Colonel, August 1, 1864; mustered out, October 14, 1864, expiration of term. This... CDV was found along with others from the 83rd PA and 44th NY in the attic of a Charleston, SC home. This is one of the last ones that I will be posting on eBay for sale. After purchasing this CDV it will be shipped in a four screw plastic cover for protection during shipping! Thanks for looking!!!!!!
