You are bidding on a Fordson F Tractor. Seven years ago I bought this tractor and went through the engine. This included going through the lower end of the engine. I put in new valve springs and valves, honed the cylinders and installed new piston rings. I had the mag rebuilt for $300 and installed a new radiator for $350 and rebuilt the carburetor. It ran well for the next 5 years and I ran it about 2 hours a year. About 2 years ago when I checked the oil, it had a milky l...ook to it. That indicated there was water in it. I pulled the head off and found a crack in the number 3 cylinder wall. ( See the 9th photo ). I went to our local machine shop and they said they had sleeved cylinder walls before in Fordsons and it would be approximately $150 to sleeve it. The engine would have to be pulled out of the tractor.The crank shaft , pistons and valve train would have to be removed. The gas tank was coated inside by the previous owner. The fuel line between the gas tank and the carburetor has been misplaced and I don't have it. I have too many other projects at this time so I am selling it. If you have any questions please ask.
