This is a great example of the famous (infamous?) and VERY RARE,  Self Framed, Tin Execution Sign.The sign measures approx. 26" X 18" and features an image of 38 Sioux Indians being hanged (largest mass execution in U.S. history) while 3 U.S. Army Officers look on drinking STANDARD BEER and smoking cigars!Very creepy marketing strategy based on negative emotions!  Definitely NOT politically correct these days, but gives a morbid glimpse of the "times" circa 1900 Mankato,... Minnesota!Sign and original paper describing events are each individually framed behind glass for easy wall display.Don't miss out on this RARE & MOST BIZARRE advertising piece in history!There are a few minor flaws with one tiny hole on each side for original mounting.
