Pretty porcelain tea cup. Decorated on the outside with small hand painted flowers in purple, yellow, orange and red. With gold highlights along the top and foot rim. And gold gilding to the handle. Has a green border with gold net overlay with raised gold beading. With raised gold flowers along the bottom of the green band. Has hand painted pink, purple, orange, and yellow flowers on the inside. Has... a gold flower obscuring the original manufacturer's mark. This can be seen if held up to a bright light. The mark underneath is a crown above RC Versailles. This is mark used by Rosenthal between 1891 and 1906. Versailles is the name of the blank / form. Also marked with an H above an X and Dresden. This mark was used by Franziska Hirsch between 1893 and 1930.
Has a filed down chip on the outside of the lip of the cup. Otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
