This one has beautifu...l decorations of a Pheasant (Bird) and Cherry Blossoms and other Flowers Painted onto the ceramic body that encircles this bowl.The last photo shows how nice this larger Damper Bowl looks sitting in the pipes saddle. The pipe saddle is NOT INCLUDED in this sale, it might be sold separately on eBay at a later date.This can also be used as an incense burner if one wishes. Just place an incensecone under the 9/16"+ wide collar opening on the bottom of thebowl. You can also simply place a stick of incense into the little holeon the top.This is the same kind of bowl that was used during the Opium War Period in China and played a rather notorious partin Chinese history.
