This auction is for a collection of memorabilia commemorating the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair held at Bethel, New York on August 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th (the festival was originally scheduled for the 15th through the 17th, but due to technical difficulties and rain delays many of the artists, including Jimi Hendrix, performed on Monday, August 18th). This lot consists of the Woodstock One and Woodstock Two vinyl LP record sets, an authentic 3 day ticket and the Woodstock movie ...in DVD.
The six sides of the records from the Woodstock One album are in "Very Good" condition. The Woodstock One records play well...some ticks and a little scratchy but for the most part only noticeable between songs. When the music is playing you hear very little noise and there is no skipping. The sleeve is in "Very Good" condition. The four sides of the records from the Woodstock Two album range in condition from "Very Good" to "Very Good+". The Woodstock Two records play well...a little scratchy in places with a few ticks, but again only really noticeable between songs and there is no skipping. The sleeve is in "Good+" to "Very Good" condition. The Woodstock 3 day ticket is in "Near Mint" condition and the DVD movie is in "Excellent" condition.
The winning bidder will receive a bonus consisting of 13 prints of photos taken during the Woodstock music festival.
