If you are a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy don't think twice - grab this 4 DVD box set before it's gone! It would make a great Christmas present.
It's the exclusive archival compilation of the best VINTAGE and UNRELEASED promo videos. The amount of material here is truly amazing - 8 hours of rarities! The set includes 7 documentaries / TV specials (mostly from the UK, incl. long lost Michael Parbot documentary and notorious Holiday Special), 30 minutes of recently discov...ered alternate takes from Return of the Jedi (from a LaserDisc editing system) and various news reports. Some were shot on Star Wars sets during production and as such are a real treasure.
The discs are housed in quadruple DVD case with cover artwork (no disc label artwork). They are in NTSC (USA) format, so make sure you have a DVD player / game console capable of playing NTSC (discs are not regionally locked). European players shouldn't have playback problems. Computers can play all formats with a free VLC player. The set is intended as a supplemental set to the official releases.
