Pretty set of 7 porcelain dessert plates in a relief molded Carl Tielsch blank. Decorated in Dresden with hand paitned flowers in pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange. With gold gilding along the edge and gold gilt highlights to the relief molded designs. These have a gold Dresden flower mark obscuring the original manufacturer's mark. The original manufacturer's mark is a CT below a green eagle, which... was used by Carl Tielsch between 1875 and 1900. Also marked with an H above an X and Dresden. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Franziska Hirsch in Dresden between between 1893 and 1930.
These have wear to the gilding, but are in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 7 5/8 inches wide.
