These rare sets are in a range of colors in pairs of iridescent deep jade green, brown and robins egg blue, gourmet brown and onyx. Included in this grouping is a single variegated volcanic brown and tan demitasse set whose mark is obscured under the cup by a deep pool of brown. None of the saucers in this group is marked. These demitasse sets are rare,... only few have been offered in the 21 years I have been on Ebay and each set is a work of Mid-Century studio art in itself. All of these glaze combinations are discontinued and difficult to find. Each cup measures 2.5" h x 2.75" d x 4” l overall and the saucer is 5” in diameter. Each set is free from chips, scratches, warping and other issues.Don't miss this opportunity to add this rare demitasse grouping to your Mid-century Modern Studio ceramic collection. It is compatible with Danish Modern, Knoll Mid-Century interiors with furniture and other objects by Isamu Noguchi, Charles and Ray Eames, George Nelson, and other luminaries. The group complements ceramic collections by the Natzlers, Marguerite Wildenhain, Vivika and Otto Heino, who also used combed decoration on their objects, and other fine potters of the era.
