We are listing today a great Antique 19th century Stoneware Salt Glazed Incised Bird Decorated Small Canning Jar Crock Attributed to Green Branch of PA/NJ. This crock is in Excellent Condition with 1 old hairline/spider line at the top rim that extends down to the blue, it is below the glaze you cannot feel with your fingernail, the crock is 100% secure & sound, rings true when you tap it (refer to last pic). No chips, cracks, or repairs. Some slight manufactured roughn...ess, a lack of salt glaze at the one area, you can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the overall excellent condition. The crock measures 8" tall x 5" at the top rim x 5 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" at the base and weighs approximately 3lb 6oz. Wonderful small cylindrical form with hand tooled top rim, great incised birds with branches & leaves in their beaks, a total of 8 birds, all washed in cobalt blue.
