ULTRA RARE LABEL VARIANT! THIS IS A VINTAGE 1964 U.S. VEE JAY RECORDS MONO " INTRODUCING THE BEATLES " VERSION TWO ALBUM!
TI'M OFTEN ASKED WHICH VEE JAY BEATLES LP RECORD LABEL STYLE IS TRULY THE RAREST OF THE RARE??, AND MY ANSWER IS STILL THIS VERY RARE ALL BLACK LABEL WITH SILVER PRINT AND BRACKETS LOGO COPY OF THE LP, 'INTRODUCING THE BEATLES' (Vee Jay VJLP-1062). I'VE ONLY HAD ABOUT AROUND 12 TO 15 OF THESE TOTAL IN ALL MY NEARLY 40 YEARS AS A COLLECTOR AND A DEALER! IT IS INDE...ED THE RAREST OF ALL VJ BEATLES ALBUM LABEL STYLES! THIS IS THE VERSION TWO MONO ISSUE OF THE LP! IT HAS NEVER BEEN VERIFIED TO EXIST IS STEREO. THE VINYL ON THE EXAMPLE BEING OFFERED HERE IS IN A VERY NICE VG+ TO ++ CONDITION! It does a few fine marks per side, but very nice. HOWEVER, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, THE LABELS ARE REALLY REALLY NICE ON BOTH SIDES!! COVER IS A REALLY NICE VG++ ON THIS ONE TOO. NO SEAM SPLITS. VERY LIGHT WEAR AND SOME VERY END CORNER TIP WEAR. A TRUE NEAR MINT COPY OF THIS LABEL STYLE HAS YET TO BE VERIFIED SO IF YOU'RE A VEE JAY LABEL COLLECTOR, I WOULDN'T BE HOLDING OUT TOO LONG FOR A NEAR MINT ONE!
