An exceptional estate find! Up for bid is this wonderful head vase. The ARTMARK fine porcelain head vase is circa 1950's. It is embossed on the bottom with "PATENTED" but is missing its paper label. The elegant woman is adorned with a wide rimmed blue glass hat. Similar examples on Ebay have demanded almost $2000.00. This fine example is in excellent condition with NO breaks, cracks, or chips. There is no crazing. It has Wonderful detaile...d paint and great features. The piece stands 5.75 inches tall. A must have for your collection. NOTE: I have been asked if the dress or any portion of the head vase has been subject to repainting. I bought this item and have listed it as I found it. If it has been repainted I am not aware of such. Also as you can see from the picture of the piece's bottom, there is blue paint along the bottom rim. That could indicate repainting. THE BOTTOM LOOKS TO HAVE PAINT ALONG THE RIM. NOT SURE IF THAT IS RESULT FROM ITS ORIGINAL PRODUCTION OR IF REPAINTED AT SOME POINT IN TIME. PLEASE EXAMINE THE PICTURES AND SELF EVALUATE.
