Blenko Glass 7054 Monumental Glass Floor Decanter by John Nickerson Blenko 33" TallCirca 1970John NickersonBlenko, USAModel 7054Created by American John Nickerson in 1970's for Blenko, this monumental sized floor decanter model 7054 was produced in limited numbers with a subtle optical effect added via subtle ribbing through the main vessel and giant ball stopper. May also be used as floor vase.33" tall with a diameter of 10". The stopper is 6 3/4" wide. Produced in Milton, West V...irginia from Art Glass in a warm honey amber color, entirely hand blown. When placed with sculptures or other abstract objects the negative space becomes a design element unto itself. Superb! In excellent condition. These large-scale pieces are ideal decor accent design objects that can truly bring a room to life and perfect for placement near windows. This piece is "wow"!We see no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. Clearly never held water. Some dust inside, could perhaps use a light rinsing. We see no obvious wear or scratches. Minimal table wear to underside from the decanter rubbing across the surface. Perhaps some of the usual anomalies associated with hand blown glass.RARE PIECE- VERY VERY NICE!Shipping:
