Antique American Historic Dark Blue Staffordshire Platter with Ships, Shell Brd. "Christianburg Danish Settlement on the Gold Coast of Africa" by Wood. This is the large size that measures 18&3/4" by 14&1/2" and the condition is perfect with no damage or repair. Only light surface glaze wear noticed in glancing light. The glaze is brilliant and shiny. There is light age discoloration only noticed on the back and normal glaze crazing as you would ex...pect. This is a scarce desirable platter. The last one I had sold for $3200!
