Up for auction with No Reserve is an INCREDIBLE VERY LARGE DINO ROSIN CALCEDONIA MURANO YOUNG LOVERS GLASS SCULPTURE. Due to a non paying bidder this Figure is being auctioned again without reserve !  I believe this is known as Model 634.  The Figure depicts a nude young lady and gentleman with the most fantastic colors throughout, much nicer than my photos show.  The Figure is also fully signed by the artist as seen and guaranteed authentic.  I am told the Estate special ordered this Figure from the Artist and paid over $10, 000 but it will sell now to the highest bidder without reserve.  Due to the weight of this figure we will be using a fine art shipper, this could delay shipping for a week but is well worth it.  We would also love to meet the buyer if they wish to travel to the Barrie or Toronto area for free pick up.

Condition :  Basically mint, no problems. Everything from this estate was very well cared for.

Size :  The figure is a very large and impressive size measuring approx 16-1/2 inches tall and 16 inches long by 10 inches wide and trust me it looks so much larger than this sounds.  The Figure weighs around 75 or 80 pounds !

Artist Bio: Dino Rosin was born in Venice, Italy on May 30, 1948. In 1960 at just 12 years of age he began work as an apprentice at the Barovier and Toso glass factory where he remained until he joined his brothers, Loredano and Mirko, at their factory, Artvet, in 1963. Dino continued to work at Artvet until 1975 when he moved to Loredano's new studio as his assistant. There Dino collaborated with his brother for almost 20 years. In 1988, Dino Rosin was invited to Pilchuck Glass School in the state of Washington to teach solid freehand glass sculpture with Loredano and the American glass artist, William Morris. Then in 1992, Loredano died and Dino assumed the role of "maestro"and began to produce his brother's old designs and ultimately his own. His masterful use of "calcedonia" glass is unique and makes his pieces recognizable and highly collectible throughout the world.  Dino Rosin uses the ancient technique of "calcedonia" coloration for his glass works of art, making each sculpture unique. Colors range from bright yellows to deep purples, varying on the metals used, temperature and duration of the glass in the furnace. Though this sculpture has been produced several times over the years no two are exactly alike with each having unique color combinations.

The last photo shows some Paperweigths and Vases just for size comparison to show how huge this figure is in real life, those pieces are of course not included.
