This is a ceramic Hula girl made in the 1940's or 1950's by Corona Del Mar, California artist Dorothy Kindell. This is a sitting Hula Dancer which measures 4" tall. As shown in photo on bottom reads Dorothy Kindell, Corona Del Mar, Calif". The figurine is on a clay base so she can sit firmly, without it she tips over. I have seen this figurine on top of ceramic boxes and this may at one time been on top of one. A nice addition to your Hawaiiana collection.
