You are looking at a Marks brothers vintage saddle that I bought from Russ Hayden’s widow, I lived in pioneer town California years ago , pioneer town was a reproduction western town built 2 hours west of Hollywood in the high desert outside of yucca valley, Cisco kid, the life and times of judge Roy bean, hop along Cassidy, Roy Rogers and many more filmed there. Russ Hayden ( lucky) was hop along Cassidy’s sidekick in many movies had a ranch there. Included is one of his personal ...saddles in excellent condition, the tree is solid and the horn is wrapped and braided in rawhide leather, the maker stamp is legible but has some wear, I included a picture of the maker that She included. This saddle is museum quality but could be put on a horse and ridden all day .the leather is supple and soft, excellent tapaderos with original wooden stirrups, this saddle has aways been stored inside.
