VERY RARE Lenox Autumn Antique Dinner Plates 1906-1930 Dk Green Hallmark Truly stunning!This Auction is for a SET of eight original Antique Lenox Autumn 10.5 inch dinner plates. The pattern Autumn was introduced by the Lenox Company around 1918. It’s decoration is a type of transferware with hand painted embellishments.They are a true collectors item. I have never seen others like them. Every one of the 8 plates is marked with a dark Green Lenox Hallmark placing their manufacture dat...e between 1917/18 and 1930. Each plate is hand numbered on back with gold 1830)x.72. x.. I am told by a collector that 1830 is Pattern Autumn and the X denotes they were manufactured in 1923.One of 8 plates has tiny abrasion on surface.(see last Picture). I have tried to capture small scratch on the one plate, this can happen if pads are not kept between at at times. Their condition is extremely fine and well preserved for its age they could shockingly pass for new, absolutely no chips or cracks or crazing anywhere. They were my mothers she bought them from an antique shop in late 1970s in So. California.There are two very wide 24k gold bands on each plate. There are 8 Dinner Plates , but the antique dinner plate differs from the modern version there is no basket decoration in center of the plate. Please review photos.The design in the band looks to have same design and color as modern autumn decorative band except it’s bordered by the two extremely large 24K gold bands.They would be absolutely stunning used under salad plate or soup bowl as a charger.The plates will need to be extremely well packed and double boxed to ensure their safety which I will do .
