CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE WOOD CANTEEN 13TH TENNESSEE INFANTRY REGIMENT SHILOH

I am pleased to offer this incredibly rare CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE WOOD CANTEEN I recently found in an Austin estate. It is 7” in diameter and 2 ¼” wide. The wood appears to be cherry. There are also leather loops where the original leather belt goes through. The wood stays on the side are constructed much like the wood on an old wooden churn. There is an inscription on the front which reads “13th TENN NW Pvt I Was There". The opposite side also has the words "SHILOH APR 1862...". The cork is missing, but the inscription is easy to read. It shows surprising little wear for age, but there are scratches here and there in the wood. However, it is guaranteed to be authentic and over 157 years old.
I tried to take as many pictures of the inscriptions as possible. The color is a nice dark brown.
