Original 1955 MOKO Lesney Matchbox No.15 'PRIME MOVER'.
This is an original Matchbox No.15 'PRIME MOVER' in a 'butterscotch' shade of yellow.
As photos indicate, this model is in excellent original condition.

Please note: The yellow Matchbox Prime Mover is very uncommon and therefore is one of the more desirable and higher cost models. For those who are interested in this model, I am writing to bring attention to the axles. While I do not have another yellow model to compare with, I did compare this to several orange Prime Movers that have both flat and dome-head axles.While the round dome-heads on this model are consistent with both the dome and flat-heads of the orange Prime Mover models, the crimped ends are not. The crimped ends on this model do have a sharp edge and more rounded edge that is similar to the orange Prime Mover models, but the crimps on both rear axles are angled and they lack the distinct pattern that is present on the ends of the orange model crimps. Because I am not the original owner of this model, I cannot account for its provenance, but nothing about the source from which this model was obtained is concerning to me. This post is in response to a message I received from a knowledgeable Matchbox collector who has brought these concerns to my attention. I contacted ebay with the intention of ending this listing so I could pursue authenticating this model, but was told that the fee for doing so is 10% of the highest bid, which at this point, is almost $100. For those who intend to bid, please do so knowing that an in-hand examination of this model is risk free, as returns are immediate, and unquestioned.I am submitting this update 5 days before the end of this listing.
