Audemars Piguet 40mm 18k Solid yellow Gold Chronograph Huitieme Watch. Condition is Pre-owned.Up for auction is a full sized 40mm Audemars Piguet Chronograph Dress watch in 18k solid yellow gold. Comes with box and papers from the audemars boutique in Bal Harbor from 1997. Model name is Huitieme chronograph. Watch is used. Fitted on a genuine audemars piguet alligator strap with a genuine 18k solid gold Patek Phillipe buckle. The watch also comes wit...h an Audemars deployant made of yellow gold and stainless steel but it is useless without the custom strap needed for this particular strap. The current black audemars strap on the deployant is fitted for a small 6.6 in wrist. I am throwing in the deployant for free because you will never find a strap that fits it and it appears someone tinkered with the middle piece of the deployant as the middle part is not gold color. So dont add any value to the deployant for bidding purposes. The watch keeps time and runs strong. Watch shows signs of use as the pictures show. There are very few pieces that you can buy from the holy trinity patek phillipe, vacheron or audemars piguet in the 40mm range with complication and solid gold for under $10, 000. As a matter of fact maybe this is the only watch that fits the 40mm solid gold/under 10k category from the big 3. Although this watch should fetch $9000 I will start the bidding at $1 and no reserve.
