Rolex Submariner Date Ref 16800 Matte Dial 8.3mil Serial. Condition is Pre-owned.Up for auction is a Genuine Rolex ref 16800 Submariner Date with matte dial. 40mm. Watch is not perfect. Dial has some lume loss at 9 oclock marker and other markers have some discoloration/imperfections...they are no longer white. Same goes for the hands....they are no longer white due to discoloration/staining. The bezel is faded to a bluish greyish color. The be...zel looks black in some angles but when you compare to a new bezel it looks bluish grey. If you are looking for a watch that is as new then this is not the watch for you. Compared to a new rolex this will look beat up. Compared to other watches from this reference model era its not bad. However there are scratches and imperfections everywhere on the watch including but not limited to the dial, bezel, case and bracelet. If you are looking for a watch with vintage appeal then this would be suitable. Although this is a vintage watch it has a saphire crystal and tough enough for daily use. Watch is running and keeping time. Purchased from one of ebay's largest and trusted dealers so authenticity is not an issue. Watch comes with inner box only. No outer box or papers.
