This is a great looking & VERY RARE VINTAGE ROLEX stainless steel & 14K yellow gold MEN's Oyster Perpetual "Big Bubbleback" watch from 1952 (per the serial number 858xxx and markings on the bracelet). It comes with a refinished Rolex black dial and 14K yellow gold "engine-turned" bezel. It is in excellent vintage condition throughout with fantastic patina and features an automatic Rolex movement. It did not come with box or paperwork, but is 100% guaranteed authentic and accur...ate as written.

Movement: Rolex automatic movement with Date. This is a non-quickset, which means the hour hand must pass midnight for the date to change. It has not been professionally timed, but is running well and keeping good time from our observations. I cannot guarantee however that it is keeping time in accordance with the manufacturers strict guidelines.
Bracelet: Rolex stainless steel & 14K yellow gold "Jubilee" bracelet. It has a good deal of droop as shown, but far better than most of this era. Beautiful unpolished look with great patina, it fits my 7 1/2 inch wrist comfortably.
Case: Rolex stainless steel 36mm wide case (not including crown) with: 14K yellow gold "engine-turned" bezel; 14K yellow gold signed Rolex crown and nice clean solid caseback.
Crystal: Scratch resistant crystal that is probably the original. Has scratches as you would expect from one of this age. Easily replaced if you wish before shipping, but I would probably leave as is. Let me know if you want this service and I can get you a quote.
Dial: Rolex black dial that has been re-finished/re-painted at some point in the distant past. Has gold arrowhead markers; yellow gold dauphine hands (hour, minute); with gold sweep second hand and (red number) date at h3. It looks fantastic.
This is a great looking watch that creates a classy and sporty look all at once that is sure to look fantastic in any high end setting and would look great on anyone's wrist.
