Very Rare Atari PBI Testing Board for 600XL 800XL Computers.
This is an extremely rare PBI Test Board for 600XL and 800XL Atari Computers. It is in an unlabeled (front and bottom) 850 interface box. The divider between thetwo SIO front ports have been cut away so the wide ribbon cable can be used. Power is connected in the back through serial port #4. It is the size of a headphonejack. I am told that is uses a standard Atari 2600 DC Power Adapter in which onewi...ll be provided with the purchase.
These were not sold to the public but used in-house at Atari and possible their ServiceCenters for diagnostics on 600XLs and 800XLs. I know only three people that ownone ... with me being one of the three.
It appears that one IC may be missing from the upper left side. Also, possibly missingis a transistor on the right edge. The few other examples of this board, that I have seenpictures of, are missing this IC and the transistor. The case was washed clean however, the unit was not powered on.
I am selling as-is.
