Dug early Civil War Dragoon coat and cuff buttons. The fronts have fantastic gold and detail. The cuff button has a depressed SCOVILLS * EXTRA * backmark. The coat has a SCOVILLS WATERBURY backmark. These buttons would fit into a Mexican American War or Civil war dug button collection. It would be tough to find dug eagle D's with more gold. Both have their shanks which are bent to the side. They measure 14 & 20 mm's in diameter. The pictures are accurate as to their condition.... Please look at my other auctions.
