Seven-Eighths Inch Celluloid Political Pin "For Chief Justice Of The Court Of Appeals Hon. A.B. Parker". Before he lost the Presidential election to Teddy Roosevelt in 1904, Alton Parker served on the New York Court of Appeals as Chief Justice. He was elected to that post in November, 1897 and served until 1904 when he accepted the Democratic nomination for President. This button is from Parker's race for Chief Justice. This pin does not surface too often. Button is in very good condit...ion and still has its original paper in the back from the National Equipment Company of New York.
