UP FOR CONSIDERATION , RARE L. NORTON 3 GALLON OVOID STONEWARE JUG WITH COBALT DECORATION . CIRCA 1828-1833 STAND 16 1/2" TALL, 11" WIDE , 36 1/2" CIRCUMFERENCE. THE JUG MEASURES 3 3/4 GALLONS AND IS OVER SIZED FOR A MARKED 3 GALLONS . THERE IS A HAIRLINE RIGHT SIDE OF LIP AND RUN UNDER THE HANDLE AND STOPS , IT COULD BE RROM THE MAKING. AND ONE SPOT ON FRONT WITHOUT GLAZE (SEE PHOTOS) SOME CHIPS ON BASE ON BASE , COULD BE MADE IN THE MAKING. ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK. But there is a small chip on lip that you cannot see clearly in the photo. It's there in the photo but hard to see when i relooked at this listing . Very top of the jug a small chip on the right top at the start of the hairline that it is  not in the making. I tried to add a better photo but ebay will not allow. Sorry for not posting a better photo of lip . Still a nice jug!
