I am going to describe the overall condition as vintage good. The boards are still firmly attached on all three books. All books have tanning due to aging and other signs of their over century old condition such as foxing and splotching from acids. Book board edges are bent inward. Original soldier wrote notes on the inside of the boards, although this is interesting from an historical perspective because the notes involve calculations or lists of inventory. Each book measures 6.25" in W x 9.25" in L. Please email me with any questions.
