VTG VULCAN USA 30lb BLACKSMITH ANVIL TOOL

For your consideration is a nice small, clean anvil marked VULCAN, REG US PAT OFF. It is also marked with a number ‘3’. This anvil weighs approximately 30 pounds. The working face is 7 1/4 x 2 3/4 inches. Overall length of the top is 12 1/8 inches. The base is approximately 6 3/8 x 5 5/8 inches. Height is 6 3/8 inches. The hardie hole is 1/2 inch square. The pritchel hole is 3/8 inch diameter. This anvil was found under a bench in the workshop of former Bethlehem Steel employee. It... appears it was sitting there for many years, probably since the 1960s. It was recently lightly wire-wheeled and oiled. It’s nice-looking patina has been preserved. The edges are sharp and it appears that it was used very little. It has some minor nicks and imperfections. It’s basically in near-new condition. This is a great little anvil. Bid with confidence.
