Please bookmark our auctions }Up for auction we have an EXTREMELY RARE original Volkstedt Germany Lace figurine lamp of a waltzing couple. This is the LARGEST and hardest to find version of t...he dancing couple figure and even scarcer in a lamp version. Full lamp measures approx. 25" high and figure alone is approx. 11" high x 10" wide. The fine realistic details in the hand painting are truly outstanding, it has great colors and applied flowers all around the ladies dress front and back. Figure stands on an oval base with gold gilt decoration. Original base and even harp and socket and finial. Excellent Condition, there is some small repair and loss of lace to the front of the dress as is typical for a figure of this size and age, small repair to one of mans finger and few tiny nicks off of some applied flowers as is common. Will be shipped dis-assembled for safety. Would sell for a great price in any antiques store, offered here with no reserve. Don't miss it!
