Original Description:
Up for sale is this vintage Craftsman 5185 vise. It has 3.5 inch jaws and a swivel base. It is in really nice condition for its age, with a fair amount of the original blue paint. It was produced by Reed for Sears and is the same vise as a Reed 203 1/2 R. It has very little backlash, about 1/8 of a turn when reversing directions, and the jaws look great and meet up perfectly. You can spin the handle with one finger. It has small date stamps on the static and dynamic jaws that I read as... "10 44".
It weighs about 38 lbs and is 15 inches long, 8 inches tall, and 8.5 inches wide at the base. It will be shipped in a double wall cardboard box secured within a wooden frame.
A heavy object like this is not cheap to ship. Shipping is $45 via FedEx Ground. I ship to the United States only.
