This vintage Briggs 6BS engine is in overall great shape for its age. The full model plate including serial nunber and code are in photo #5. This engine starts on starting fluid and sounds great. I put some fuel in the tank but the carb didn't suck it up, so that should either be cleaned or rebuilt. The fuel tank has some light surface rust inside and may be usable as is. There's no rot or anything so if needed the tank can be cleaned and sealed easily. This engine is complete except f...or the air cleaner.
