Commemorative Tool Number 19 made by Bridge City Tool Works was a stainless steel transfer bevel designed by John Economaki, founder of Bridge City Tool Works.
This tool was well received and John had 8 identical prototypes made in aluminum, 6 with imperial graduations and 2 with metric graduations. This is one of the two metric versions. The company was sold before this was to go into production, so now several of these prototypes are being auctioned.
This tool is fa...scinating. First, transfer bevels sit flat on a drawing allowing the user to transfer angles from the drawing direct to the tool without parallax errors. Built into the tool is an adjustable stop for 90 degrees, so it can become an almost instant square.
The magnetic base snaps in place and allows you to turn the tool into machine set-up bevel or a try square. The base itself is also magnetic so it sticks to machine surfaces for hands free setups.
It is one of the most unique tools ever produced by Bridge City Tool Works and sure to be a great addition to your shop or collection. These are unboxed.
